Roles and responsibilities of the first aider, regulations;

Hazards related to exposure to blood;

Primary and secondary assessment;

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) protocols for children (1 year to puberty) and adults;

Use of automated external defibrillator (AED);

Airway obstruction management;

90-minute training on epinephrine administration;

Medical emergencies (altered level of consciousness, heat stroke, seizures, difficulty breathing, chest pain, hypothermia, poisoning, diabetic emergencies);

Head, spinal and limb injuries;

Eye injuries, burns, frostbite;

Shock, bleeding;

Patient transfer techniques.
